About Us

Rushbrigg Gundogs is a small family business based in East Suffolk near Framligham run by Sam Morley-Riches. All our dogs are bred from field trial and working lines and are health tested via the British Veterinary Association health schemes and DNA tested for hereditary conditions. Sam is a Kennel Club, A Panel Field Trial (Retriever) Judge. Her passion is for competing and she derives great pleasure from the bond she develops between her and her dogs.   Her motivation is her love for her dogs and the stimulus when they achieve. Both Retrievers and Spaniels feature in the kennels.

Sam started trialling in 2002 with Brindlebay Drummer initially with the help and support of Mike Tallamy (the IGL 2002 Retriever Championship Winner). She has gone on to win many retriever trials and gained a number of B qualifications for the IGL Championships. 

Sam also competes in Kennel Club Licensed Gundog Working Tests and is often invited to compete in team tests for various Gundog Clubs and Societies.
